Water Supply

Water for Windmill Farms residents is currently provided by the City of Forney, which receives wholesale water from the North Texas Municipal Water District.
 

The District contracts with Inframark to operate and manage its facilities for the purpose of providing water, wastewater and ancillary services to residents of the District. These facilities are permitted and operated in accordance with regulations of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). The facilities are inspected and tested frequently, and reports are filed in compliance with TCEQ rules and regulations for public water and wastewater utilities in the State of Texas and applicable federal water supply requirements.
